Anybody else grow a beard for hunting season?

I grow a beard every year for deer hunting but have to keep it fairly trimmed for work. I usually let the trimming slide the beginning of November so that it is nice and thick come gun season to help keep my face warm.

I used to grow one every year and shave it off around New Years. Then about 8 years ago I kept the beard for 5 years. Shaved it off and now I keep the goat 24/7.

Saw it in a movie once..... DasBoot, whent he reporter joins the sub crew and asks why they all didn't shave. 'Cause it would embarass the enemy to see the baby-faces of this crew'..(or something of that nature)..... I figured the deer might get embarassed too.
I have grown a beard for the last several season but this year I haven't started yet...... I'll have a chat w/ my new boss.

"No just more hair, more hair = more scent!"
Do you really think so Ghemry?
I am in big trouble then, cause not only do Ihave a beard but a foot and half ponytail!
What about the "camo" effect a beard has on your face?
