I got one i think all people should know about. When you hunt in the early season if you have snake boots wear them. I have seen way to many snakes not to and although it may not kill you an infection in the bite can get you any ways who wants to get bit. IT comes in handy in the dark also as most snakes are nocturnal and tracking a deer or going to your stand there are a lot of things your flashlight misses just be carful guys.

I can honestly say that all these years huntingI have never seen a snake in the woods. That don't bother me a bit either because we don't get along. I have seen plenty fishing but none bowhunting.

Very good point. I wear my snake boots the entire season. Here in NW Ga / NE Ala., snakes are everywhere... Ain't but three things I'm scared of Cops, Women and Snakes !!!!!

I saw a little snake today out in the woods and saw a black snake earlier this year scouting but I've never seen a snake while hunting either. I would take a snake every once in awhile to replace hundreds of mosquitos and ticks.[:'(]

My brother just lives up the road a piece from ya Oneshot, I might just have to come by some day for a fishing trip with you and your dad as guides.

No snakes in the woods here in MI that I have seen. I saw a guy on Jet ski once in the El nino year during October, I called him a F Snake as he went by!!
