It's real hard to say because both these arrow's are great .Although I've never used the Maxima's and can't say anything about them other than they are a little heavier on the pocket book than the Axis's .
But I've been using the Axis's for 2 season's now and love them .That's the best I can say about them.

They are both solid arrows either one will do the trick for ya. I have been shooting the maximas as of late and they are solid arrows

Agreed that both are great arrows.

I've been shooting Axis STs since they came out. Thought about trying Maximas but the price scared me away.

If possible, I'd say get three or a half dozen of each and shoot them to figure which you like best.

I have shot the ST Axis in my friend's bow and like them, but I have had CX 6075s for the last 3 years and had nothing but good experiences. Price might be the determining factor.

Thanks for the input guys.

I have shot both and for the money I would go with the axis or even better yet beman makes a version of the axis that has better specs for the same price. just one tid bit of advise....with the axis make sure that the point end is cut perfectly straight other wise you'll never get a broadhead to spin true.

I looked at Beman's website and they have several models with HIT. What model are you talking about?
