Beman was the first in carbons, and every deer I ever hit was a total pass through shot.ICS all the way.

My all time favorite shaft for my compounds is not made anymore. I loved the Carbon Express Terminators. By far the best carbon shaft I have ever used. Man im going to miss my terminators when I use up the last one.

I have shot both and for the money I would go with the axis or even better yet beman makes a version of the axis that has better specs for the same price. just one tid bit of advise....with the axis make sure that the point end is cut perfectly straight other wise you'll never get a broadhead to spin true.
I looked at Beman's website and they have several models with HIT. What model are you talking about?
I believe they are called black max's.
If your dead set on going with a hit insert arrow those would be the ones I would choose. Personally I shoot nothing but gold tip arrows but I'm not going to push those on ya because you already have your 2 choices in mind. Good luck and shoot straight!!

The CX's are straighter.

Actually the bemans and the CX have the exact same straightness tollerances (.003). But the Bemans are a heavier arrow ( 9.6 GPI to 8.3GPI) which is perfered for a hunting shaft.

Ive shot some carbons over the years , carbon express , and their terminator arrows , they disapointed me . The terminators started out good but lost their spine quickly . The new maximas are totoly diferant and may be good , time will tell .
This year I am shooting axis arrows , started out with them last year with mixed result's , cured my problem [fletch contact] and they have been very consistant for me all summer , only had 1 bad arrow out of 24 .
