Special Arrow....
#1
Ok now last year i had one arrow that i wanted to use first to get a deer. The year before i had used it to shoot a deer, but it was pushed by coyotes and i didnt get it, it would have been my first deer. So last year i had that same arrow picked out and ready and i was determined to get a deer with that arrow. I dont know if i was the only one who has done something like this with an arrow, but im just curious if anyone else has had a similar situation.

my arrows are all the same...none stand out...i got 5 with brand new heads on them that were all refletched. all shot once to make sure they were ok...ill shoot them all once more with a used BH to double check...but those 5 will be the ones i hunt with....whatever 3 are in the quiver are the ones that goto the stand....whatever one is in the middle is the one i will use first lol......but i know what you mean....just got a feeling type thing....

i usually put an x with an ink pen on a fletch after it survives shooting a
deer so i can use it again. never got past two kills before i break one. my special arrow this year is because it has a luminock on it.

Us bowhunters are a superstitious bunch, and I will use an arrow until it's "luck" runs out, so to say. If I'm in a slump, I pull a different arrow to adjust the karma. Gotta get some fuego (prounounced, foo-a-go) going, ya know?

My arrows are all numbered in order to determine if any fly better or worse than others. Once I have them all tuned they all are ones that fly good. Other than than always picking one out of my quiver from the same spot I don't put them in any specific preference. However I will keep re using an arrow if its still good for as long as I can.
