Finally...someone else that knows the type of feeder. The elk and deer in that area will chew an ear of corn untill they can pull the ear through the wire. Certain area of the wire have 4"x4" squares cut in them too, but its a matter of them being able to spin the spool with 150lbs of corn in it. Those little guys were eating the lose stuff off the ground.

Up there, some of the bigger, more aggressive bulls will attack the feeders out of frustration. You see alot of the ripped down.

And I'm hoping to be able to get that population up, I should just fill every feeder on the hillside up with corn so no one can hunt the hillside haha...but that would cost alot of $$$$and make it easier for the more un ethical hunters.

In Va. we cant even feed between sept. 1st and jan. 6. And cannot hunt where food has been for 30days prior. Sux.
