does anyone do this? will the deer be able to see the ladder? have you shot deer out of them?

Tons of people use ladder stands. The key is to set them up and brush the bottom 10 foot or so in. Even if you choose to just leave it green put it in about a month early and the deer will get used to it.

I leave mine up year round. Just adjust the straps periodically. The deer are used to it and aren't alarmed.

The deer get used to them and don't pay any attention . Wear gloves when you climb so you don't leave your scent on it ........

Same here, love my ladder stands.. One is 20' and the other is 22'..

Leave them up year round or set them up several months before season and the deer pay no attention to them down the road. It's just another "thing" in the woods..
