Again...these pics are from WV....I got the camera this weekend while we were down at our farm. I know the PA laws fellas.
You say the word "Again" as if you told us in the very first post that these pics were from WV. You didn't. Since all we had to go by was your location, we came to the easiest conclusion. ;)

I have considered using Deer Cain but I always heard mixed results about it. It's ok to bait in TX btw. :D

The word "Again" was for PA bow/flinter...I had addressed it to him in an earlier post. About the coke...always had great results with it.

So it's illegal to bait? or to hunt by the bait? If you can bait then you guys jumped the gun on Mighty. :D

In some states you can bait and in others you can't. It just depends on local laws.

Yes that takes you out of the "fair chase" category and puts you in the "not legal" category if your hunting that spot in Pa.[:@]
Can't bait in NY either...and I'm glad of it!

I read an article either last year or the year before about how the author was going to hunt in Texas and anticipated no challenge because we can bait. After several days of being busted by the cagiest does and bucks he had ever seen, he realized that just because you can bait, doesn't mean the deer just line up and fall over for ya. :D

so true reacher. And what is the difference b/w that and sitting smack dab in the middle of an orchard I know they visit every evening, or along a well used trail leading into a corn field?

Sorry Might, didn't mean to makeany false accusations but initially you didn't mention WV. You raise a great point about hunting oaks, hickory and other nut producing trees, not to mention crops and fruit producing trees.:)

I go through 100 pounds of corn a week in two "baiting" sites. I don't hunt over them though because I have never in my life seen even a decent buck come to bait. In fact, I have seen them go out of their way to avoid the area. I know others have had the exact opposite experience, but for around here, I set out "bait" to keep the does around and then use them as my real bait come the rut.
