I hate when someone says "This deer gave its life so we could enjoy the meat". He didn't give his life you took it. Huntings killing, I havn't seen a deer yet that said " Hey get a double lung on me and enjoy my back straps."
LOL, good one

Back when Pennsylvania rifle season was an buck as long as the spike was three inches or longer, you would always here this comment. " I counted 7 points on him". Then you ask him " so you got one"? They say no, ran off before I could get a shot at him. Question to him. How can you miss him if you have thetime to count the points? That really ticked me off.

How many of you know of a guy who's arrows are always deflected by branches when it was going to hit the deer in the vitals????

"anything shot with a bow is a trophy"

Perhaps if you are handicapped, a toddler, or elderly...but for any other well human being, shooting "anything" is not a trophy. Getting "any" place in a race or contest does not result in a trophy and shooting "any" deer doesn't either....and don't kid yourself, if you shoot a dink, immature, inexperienced, and clueless baby buck and someone says "hey, great buck, that's a nice trophy!".......they really feel sorry for you and are just trying to make you feel better and perhaps themselves as well because they shot a dink as well.

That saying is perfectly valid... You just gotta adjust your level of equipment technology to make it so.

Too easy with a compound? Get a recurve or longbow.
Too easy with a treestand? Plop your buns on the ground.
Too easy with feeders/food plots/scent bombs? Don't use 'em!

If you find it so easy to kill with the gearyou use that you can't consider everything you take with a bow to be a trophy, it's your own dang fault.

That's my rant on 'worst phrase by hunters.' [8D]

Well I have to say Im one who says harvest. Lets face it were all killers. I say harvest to make it sound better to the antis. I dont like to give them anymore fuel for their fire. But sticking to the point here. Basket rack, hmmmm Ive never seen a deer with a basket on his head. also 4x4 or 5x5, just cant stand that. Next one well I was driving down the road and there was a monster deer in such and suchs field. Yeah stickers and kickers gets old as well...

That person who always comes back to the lodge excited they shot a deer and says, "I hit it but don't know how good." or" I hit it a little far back." They should just come out and say they made a poor shot.

This is the worst pharse I have ever heard and or friends at ESPN air it every time before any of their hunting shows they air.
"This show contains impact shots, view discreation is advised" or
I mean what the f***. Of course you are actually going to see something die if you are watching a hunting show and it will bleed and you will see an arrow sticking out of it or a bullet hole get over it. The only reason they don't show the cow you're eating getting killed is the fact it is far more ugly.
