Tough Week!
I was messing around in the backyard with my boys and thier friends a while ago and hurt my right hand. I thought it was no big deal until my wife finally persuaded me to go to the doctor. Turns out I tore the ligaments and the sagital band on top of my hand. He reset the tendon back in place and put me in a cast. Hopefully it will heal properly and I won't need surgery after the cast comes off. I am really frustrated with bow season coming soon. The best possible scenario is that I will have one week to practice after my cast is off. This injury has me contemplating a crossbow for the first time. I'm pissed!

RE: Tough Week!
No, I have tried a couple of diferent releases and jury rigs, but nothing is working. I have a range in my warehouse at work, 40 yards. I spent 2 hours today trying to figure it out. No luck!

Well I just look on the bright side, your not on my team.
Just kidding. You just rest your hand. Quit trying. 1 week is good enough to get back in the swing of things. You just want to be sure youbetter before you try to shoot.
Good luck

RE: Tough Week!
i know a guy who broke his wrist and what he did was he went up to his local archery shop and with one of the guys there they figured out a way for him to shoot. what they did was like fix a sling to the release that would like go around his elbow, so then he would be pullin back with his arm not his hand. Im not sure how exactly the set up was, but he got it to work, and was up at shooting in no time.
