what's your most hated word or phrase on hunting shows

When they say "I laid the smack down on them" or whatever it is....and they whoop and hollar and everythingelse. I find that completely disrespectful and absolutely CAN NOT stand it![:@]

This might be a Canadian thing, but I hate it when a hunter refers to their bow or gun as a weapon. I don't use my guns or bow or crossbow against people, they are more like tools or sporting goods than weapons. A baseball bat could be a weapon, but it isn't if you use it for what is was meant for.

I hate when they use the term "Joker" to refer to a deer. Not sure why...just do. Oh, and when they say it was a good hit when they shot it at 10am, and the recovery footage is in the black of night. Do they think we're dumb???

Take these shows for what they are, ENTERTAINMENT. The so called hunter is no more than an actor complete with entorage. And itIS all about glory and money. I live in Illinois and laugh at out of staters who pay these outfitters. The average guy here gets put on stands where it is more likely he will see only average deer that he could have seen at home. The big money boys get put onto the really good deer because to have it all on film is advertising to the outfitter which means more big $$$$$$$$.

I enjoy the hunting shows and look forward to watching on sunday but I think the thing that gets to me the most is like what everyone else has said, they worked hard all week. I wish they'd come hunt some of the areas I have, they would quit.

Yeah, that Barta guy is something else, huh? He's got enough testosterone to outfit an entire football team.[:'(]
I don't know why this bothers me, but there's no doubt that the whole enterage finds the dead animal and then the camera guy sends the hunter/guide back a ways and has them act like they're still following the trail ("here's some more blood...and there's some more...there he is, oh man, he's a monster...").
