Hey Greg, you notice how much white is in his jacket? I have predator fall grey too, with not nearly as much white. Similar to your jacket....I wonder if the pattern varies that much, or he has a "special" pattern.

I've been an ASAT wearer for many years, definately won't use any pattern that is not in an open pattern such as ASAT, Predator and I'm real excited about having my Enigma suit come in and putting it through the tests including whitetails this fall. If it works like I think it's going to, it'll be my new pattern of choice....Just like ASAT, nobody new it, trusted, could get the concept, but the guy behind Enigma has a fantastic reputation in customer service and camo know how. Just because it doesn't appeal to the human eye doesn't make it noneffective. ASAT is the worst looking camo I've ever seen and it's the best camo I've ever used....until now perhaps. Once I receive my Enigma suit, I'll do a review.

And I understand the orders are pouring in....

Yes.... This is a VERY sore subject for me, thank you very much!! In the past, Ihave spoken with Marc Barger (the designer of that pattern), as well as the gentleman who wrote up that informal study which is linked to up above (Jeff Miglautsch). The way the patterns were distorted more and more was one of the reasons Marc sold out his interest to the Hood brothers, among other reasons.

That picture represent to me an almost perfect camo concept; today's Fall Gray is of course as close as a current pattern comes to looking like that pic (after all, it IS the same concept, just distorted). If the Hood brothers could be convinced to go back to producing it like it was originally drawn/designed, I would turn cartwheels.

While we're talking about the pattern a bit here, thought I'd throw out something for your enjoyment... This is Marc's personal truck he hand-painted a few years ago. It is now sold, but how cool is this?

Crap! I can't get it to show.... maybe sometime in the future...

I have Predator Fall Grey pants which I like, it's grey and dull but the jacket and shirt I purchased with it are all but snow white.....I'll show the pics when I get my Enigma suit...it's a pattern I'm going to post as well as ASAT, MO, RT, Predator Brown which we can't get anymore and others.

Sounds to me like someone accidentally shipped you "Winter White" instead of Fall Gray...

No, it's fall grey but the grey is white...I'm trying to can a pic of my bear hunt..I wore it then cause I was in a very grey elm/pin tree with a huge white birch behind me then sky...it worked perfectly under that setup...

I use mostly mossy oak, as it blends in great with an early to mid season Va. woods. I'm going to try the cabelas outfitter camo for later season this year. I think it'll mix in very good.

If it looks like you're describing, and it's size XL... I've got first dibs on making you an offer for it, provided it's still in good condition.

Not worn too many times, but it's like the rest of my camo collection, you can never have too much...

Here's the pic of the bear harvest in Quebec back in '98.

Notice the ASAT hat and gloves...lol I was able to scout my stand the day before and once I saw the White Birch I was nestled into, that made my camo choice easy...LOL

Not to hijack the thread but here's an even younger Rob/PA Bowyer back in '94 with his first ever bow buck after 11 years of hunting with a bow....I think I've taken one ever year since unless I passed on all of them.
