Default Anybody got a good site for rut predictions.

I'm looking for Va rut predictions this year. I know it may not be set in stone but I'm curious.

What do you mean by "rut predictions"? Do you mean when is the rut expected to peak in your area? I thought it was the same every year. first two weeks in November around here it's usually at it's peak but rutting activity lasts well into December. Then there is the second rut but that's hardly noticeable.

It is about the same. I thought I have seen some where before where they list times where deer will more likely be moving around.

Heck, I might have dreamed it.[&:]

They are as acurate as predicting tomorrows weather, this years huricanes and global warming.Damn, I like those odds.My advice is to do what everyone else does, plan for the 3 week in November to be hot rut timeand go on vacation. Plan on calling in sick the week before and the week after.

Good luck

I've read that it peaks, in the northern latitudes, around the second full moon after the autumnal equinox.......Please don't make me say that again.....[8D]
