Default Hitting the mineral hard

Well back in may or June I placed out some Antler King mineral in one spot about 15 yards from one of my field stands. They hit it is the first few weeks that it was there and then they seemed to stop hitting it as much. Now I checked on it the other day and I couldnt beleive the how hard they are hitting it. They have just about all the mineral gone and have a hole dug out about 6-8 inches wide and about 4-5 inches deep and im sure its only going to get bigger over the next month or two. By placing the the mineral there i was hoping that the deer woudl kind of stay ouot of the corn a bit but it seems as if I placed the mineral too close to the corn cause the deer have begundevestating the cornfield near the mineral lick. Now that most antlers are at full growth in Wi I think i may cut back on the amount of mineral i will be putting back out. What do you all think.
