Why are you guys so down on PSE? Their lesser priced stuff are really decent bows for the money... So what if they're not up to par with the "big three". I went and shot the big three last weekend(just for poo and giggles, I can't afford 'em), and was less than impressed.

I dontunderstand where everyone goes off on PSE's durability. My dad worked for PSE back when they started off in a 700-square foot building in Mahomet, Illinois, in the mid 70s. My dad had the same Fire Flite prototype from 79-05.After25 bowseasons, 17 P&Y bucks, 6 P&Y bears, 2 350+ elk and several wild boars and turkeys later, he broke down and bought a new PSE Dakota. You dont stay in the highly competitive archery business for 35 years selling "****ty equipment" foks.

I think these "this or that" threads are funny. First, it says a lot about the power of advertising. Then we could talk about peer pressure and image. But what's really funnyis how some guys get all tweaked whena knothead seriously puts down their particular bow, truck, team, whatever. If you've got any self confidence at all, it doesn't matter what the other guy thinks.I didn't buy my bowto please somebody else.

I'm not putting down PSE's (I used to own a PSE Edge 1000C bow for years).
The problem I see with PSE is that - yes, they are a great company and make nice bows, BUT... the bow industry has sort of passed them by, so PSE has to really do some serious leg work to catch up.
