Indians used to put skins and antlers on to walk right among the deer--with a bow! Also it is similar to a moose tactic, where you use a cardboard cot out of antlers and do teh moose 'swagger' to get close. Bow season, good idea---gun season--suicide!!!!

They are totally stupid! Here where I hunt they would be dead in ten minutes. Too many trigger happy people out there today.

I'd say the deer were thinking: "my gosh, that deer has a huge, weird looking body. Whats he eating". I think if you were going to try it, youd have to wear all brown also. These guys werent in brown. Instead of looking like a deer, they looked like a reverse minotaur. :D

That might be an idea for those of you who hunt private land that is never trespassed upon. I saw a video of some guys stalking elk with a bow once and while they were walking up to the elk they would hold their bows high about their heads. For some reason it made the elks more accepting. Maybe just the site of something with headgear, they felt it couldnt be a predator. I dont know.
