I almost can't take it anymore! The nights have cooled down to the upper 60's and the smell is in the air! I WANT TO BE IN MY TREE STAND!! MAJAY and I are headed for elk at the end of the month! Thank god or I think I would bust!

I hear ya. 61 days here. I can hardly wait...

BEst of luck on the elk hunt. I will be heading out with my old man the middle of next month to do just that. It is my favorite time of year and my favorite way to hunt... spot and stalk (or hear and stalk I guess).

i know i feel your pain as well. every day i go and shoot my bow, and three days ago i was shooting and happend to see a stuppid ground hog just hanging out by the pound so i had to sneek up on him and get a 30 yard shot of and pinned him to the ground.

47 days up here in Wisconsin...seems like forever!!

We have 38 days. I guess I'm locking on ladders and stands, this weekend. It's hard to believe it's time, again.
