Default easton arrows

I'm thinking of getting the new easton full metal jacket arrows this year. And i was wondering if anyone had any comments on them and since they are aluminum and carbon if they make a diffrence.

They are good arrows, but honestly I would just get the Axis. In the testing we've done at the shop, they aren't as durable and they don't pentrate as well as the Axis. But if you decide to get them, you wouldn't be doing a bad thing, that's for sure.

I agree with mobowhuntr...
Only advantage might be easier to pull from your target but other than that I think the Axis is a better all around arrow.

I'm definitely a big fan of the axis. I've had a few discussions with the guys at the shop and they don't seem to think the FMJ is worth the additional cost.

thanks for you honesty. So if i get a new arrow what is the best on the market right now? And would you shoot feathers on a carbon arrow?

I shoot the FMJ arrows (see sig) and I really like them. As far as target removal, that is a major plus with these arrows. As far as the durability comment, I've beat mine up pretty good as far as shooting them with a group of guys and banging arrows into each other in the target, and they have held up real well. I sunk one into a tree at a 3D shoot, and that one is fine as well. Axis are definitely a good arrow, but I'm sticking with the FMJs

The best, you say? I would say it's a toss up between 2. The Easton A/C/C or the Carbon Express Maxima. And yes, feathers work just fine on carbon. I used to shoot them all the time.
