i like em, you lose speed caus the draw length is shorter but i think it helps, you are a lil more accurate and it doesnt wear on the serving

I use the string loop. After getting hit with the metal D-loop, I immediately went with the string loop (metal leaves one heck of a bruise on the forearm).

String loop man here also. the one i got is the knot one from cabelas which has worked fine for me so far.
But the knotless one is looking even better.

I've use one for quite some time now. There's no down side to it. Give one a try.

A loop doesn't have to change your draw length. It may/probably change your anchor though. Also you can play around with a hook release and release length adjustments to minimize that. As far as adding weight, compared to usually a couple nocks and a cushion button that is used off the string, theyweigh FAR more than a little string loop.
I had been hesitant all these years, but finally switched last year and ain't looking back.

rybohunter is dead on! Bow loops are great and they do not affect you draw length at all. Like he said they may change your anchor point, making your drawing hand further back than without a loop, that is it. I didn't realize this at first either but it's true. I switched to one on my bow and love it.

I've got one on my razortec and love it. It did take some getting use to as has been said. As far as draw length, I shortened mine by 1/2" because I didn't like the feel of holding farther back on my release hand. I use the corner of my jaw as one of my anchor points and the added length of the loop kept me from hitting my wall because of the anchor point. After I shortened the draw length, it felt better and my groups came together very nicely.
