Because I don't know if I want it or not..........I have never shot one. On paper the Equalizer is Bowtech's fastest bow pound for pound. Sitting in a treestand I like my bow at about 62lbs and at 27" my 2003 Patriot flings arrows in the low 270's.........changing NOTHING the Equalizer should be tickling 300. Drawing 60lbs is a piece of cake.........if I can do that and STILL be near 300fps at 27" out of a smooth, quiet, shock free bow then sign me up.
Does the Equalizer live up to all that?? I don't know..........but I would sure like to find out.
If it doesn't then I will buy the Alleigence, which I have already shot and think is a great bow.........didn't think much of the Tribute.
I never thought I would have trouble giving away $2,000 [>:]

So you want a dealer to order a bow that you are not sure you want to buy ? He should tie up his money in some inventory that someone might decide he doesn't want ?
Don't tell anyone else that you are from Western , NY ! Please !

Yes.........and so does everyone else in this forum.......look at ANY bow advice thread and you will see one common piece of advice......"Go shoot every bow you can and find the one that fits and feels the best to you"
Why do you think bow dealers have racks full of bows for people to feel and shoot??............because they wouldn't sell a thing if all they had was catalogs and pictures [

Yes............that is life as a business owner. No one said he should have 5 of everything in stock.........but if you call yourself a Bowtech dealer you should have that product line in stock for customers.

Sounds like Fantasy Island.
I would NEVER buy a bow I didn't shoot first..............NEVER.

If you are serious, call Tony at 3D Archery in Vaughn, Montana. He has both in stock, and would definately sell them to you. (406)-965-3236. He's the best guy I've ever done business with.
