Coyote/Ten pointer
Have a question for all you hands.
I posted a pic of a10pt I that I had harvested last year. Well about 30 to 60 seconds before I shot him I had noticed a coyote behind me about 50-60 yards. I tried like heck to call the coyote in by doing this screaching sound by kissing the palm of my hand, I knowthis sounds kind of fruity but it is pretty effective. I have called several coyote's in with this method.
Anyway like I said 30 to 60 seconds after that here comes the ten point from the same direction, walking like he is somewhat looking for something.
Do you think this is normal?
I have watched videos where deer spook from yotes and I have seen videos when the deer are hanging out in the field with the yotes.

lumpy,
I was sitting at the back of my truck, one year, calling coyotes. I was using a distressed rabbit call. Out of the blue, I was charged by a doe mule deer. She actually ran into my folded down tailgate...I was sitting on it. To this day, I think she thought I had her fawn.
Weird things happen in the woods. That's why I like being out there.
You may have found a little something to place into your bag of tricks!

Heck, when I was a young stud full of hormones a little kissing sound would bring me on a run too, but not in the direction of the tailgate.
