Sorry ,but I couldn't PM ya back. My PM is not working correctly.
I'll be hunting with a friend on private property in Oregon County {Ozarks} I hunted there last year and got a small 8 point. We are watching a couple of nice 10 points this year. I mostly hunt in Florida . I was drawn for one spot where only 15 hunters can get in. Muzzleloader only.

Thanks for the PM.

Seems there are a few things not working correctly here. Earlier, I was logged in as Matt/ PA....I had mod priveleges and everything. I could lock threads, whatever....I didn't, of course, but very strange indeed.

Those Ozarks deer get pretty good! Lots of big woods around there! Sounds like fun! Good luck to you, Sir!!

Good...I thought it was just my computer.

Yeah...I met this man on Hunting.Net. We fell in love with his family.
I save all year to go. My wife went last spring up there because my son happened to be stationed at Fort Leonard Wood as an MP . So he filled up a cooler of turkey and deer and sent me on my way. It's a long drive but a real blessing. Folks are different in Missouri.Very sweet , and layed back. It's like I'm back in Mayberry.

I did not mean to hijack this post but you all was talking about the deer in the Ozarks of MO. I was raised in the ozarks a lot of kin up there in the hills. Here is some pics. of some deer that my brother and some of are buddys killed the first pic. is a buck that my bro. killed in 1996 and the other ones are some that him and some of are buddys killed the next season.

Very nice, indeed!! My buddy, who owns the farm I hunt on in the Ozarks, shot a 174 there 2 years ago. We've got some high hopes for the fall!

All of those bucks came from Shannon and carter countys. I left from ther in 1995. I hope to get back up there and do some hunting soon.
