Default Trykon Action Shots

This afternoon I got kinda bored after raking hay, so I decided to pull out my new Trykon and do some shooting. I haven't shot it much at all as some of you know (I partially tore my rotator cuff after getting my new bow this spring). I got it sighted in really good at 20, 30, and 40 yards so far. Got consistent golf ball sized groups out to 40 yards (3 shots), so I decided it was time to go shoot some gophers.

I end up shooting at 7 gophers, I killed 6 for 7 majority were shot right around 20 yards, furthest being 35, and then my brother showed up with his digital camera and caught my only miss around 30 yards.

Miss: Gopher is scurrying to the left.

While walking around my bin site looking for more gophers to shoot, I saw a woodchuck between a few of my bins. Lasered it at 32 yards and let one fly......Didn't turn out so well for the lil varmint.

Here is a shot of me taking a few practice shots at my target:

Turned out to be a fun afternoon with the new Trykon!

Great shooting Rammer. I also have a Trykon, just wondering if you have a BUZZ vibration sound in your bow?

Old thumper I have a Trykon and love it. I heard that some people were having that problem. They said it was from the new silencer balls on the strings. They said after the string gets broke in that they make the noise you're talking about. When I bought my bow I had them put on cat whiskers right away, and I've never had a problem. Maybe this will help.

Thanks guys for the compliments. My Hoyt does not make the buzz sound, but it isn't broke in yet. I've probably only put a little over 150 shots thru it so far.

The lil critter got shot there because he spotted me and was almost ready to turn and run, figured it was now or never. Wish I would have had a Spitfire on......
