This afternoon I got kinda bored after raking hay, so I decided to pull out my new Trykon and do some shooting. I haven't shot it much at all as some of you know (I partially tore my rotator cuff after getting my new bow this spring). I got it sighted in really good at 20, 30, and 40 yards so far. Got consistent golf ball sized groups out to 40 yards (3 shots), so I decided it was time to go shoot some gophers.
I end up shooting at 7 gophers, I killed 6 for 7 majority were shot right around 20 yards, furthest being 35, and then my brother showed up with his digital camera and caught my only miss around 30 yards.
Miss: Gopher is scurrying to the left.
While walking around my bin site looking for more gophers to shoot, I saw a woodchuck between a few of my bins. Lasered it at 32 yards and let one fly......Didn't turn out so well for the lil varmint.
Here is a shot of me taking a few practice shots at my target:
Turned out to be a fun afternoon with the new Trykon!
