Iam looking for a good bowhunting/safety vest. But I want a GOOD one! I want one that is essentially a turkey hunting vest (LOTS of pockets) with a good 4-point harness. I want to do away with a backpack and just use my vest for day hunts. I want something that will carry my calls (grunt tube, bleat can), extra release (because I've dropped one more than once), flashlight, bow hanger, toilet paper (an essential), and other misc materials (trail markers, knife, tag, etc, etc, etc). I see in catalogs either vests with pockets and no safety system (a hole in the back for an extra safety belt) or a safety vest without many pockets. Am I overlooking something?
I've seen the SOP's and HSS vests and they both seem to be lacking in one department or the other.......
Thx!

I believe Primos makes one and new for this year API makes one as well. Though I must admit, I don't know if the Primos doubles as a safety vest and I am not sure if the API has lots of pockets, but they both make one.

The Primos vest doesn't have an integrated safety belt, the API looks like its lacking in the pocket dept (from the pic on the Bass Pro website). I'll go check it out at the store. Interestingly enough, it isn't even displayed on the API website. Thanks for the info!

I like the looks of this vest from Cabela's...but no safety belt built in. I wonder why they don't combine the two?
