I've been lazy and havent been shooting the bow at all since bow league, which ended in late March. Should i continue to shoot it over the summer so im prepared for the upcoming bow/deer season?

YES definetly. The longer you go without shooting the longer it is going to take to get back in the groove. Just my thought.

I shoot almost daily year round. It is my passion. YES, take it to bed with you even. Your bow needs you and you need it.

even when the deer season is in full swing you'll still want to get some practice in just to make sure all your equipment is still in position and working. If you stop practicing at the beggining of bow season, by the timelate december and january comes around you might not evenbe able to pull your bow back

I would shoot as much as you can during the summer. I have a lot of time to make up when I leave here. Friend who has an archery shop has a 3D range and 60.00 shoot when you want and as often, so guess where I can be found when I get home! [8D]

It depends on how good you are and how much you like to shoot. I've never been one to feel its needed to shoot all year to be be confident to cleanly kill a deer. As long as you are ready byyour opener, whether it takes you 10 shots, or 10,000 shots. It won't hurt to pull out the bow 1/week and take a few shots to keep the dust off.

I shoot every chance I get. Not just for the practice but because it is just plain fun. More than likely I'll shoot for four or five hours at my buddys house tonite.[8D]

When given the opportunity I shoot every day. It is a great after work stress reliever.
