Use Muzzy 3 Blades and stay away from mechanicals. If you can't get them to fly like broadheads - then you better tune your bow.

Wasp Jakhammer's are an awesome head, and have worked very well for me in the past. Shoot exactly like field points and leave devistating results. If you would like to know why I use these compared to the other mechanical heads I will simply state that they have the thickest blades (.036"), the hardest point (SS), and have a proven design!

If moving parts scare you, I'm guessing you are using a recurve or long-bow?

I prefer the fixed blade. I use the Wasp SST Hammer 3-blade, 85 gr. It is a tough blade, trocar like point, hollow ground so that the sharp edges line up with the blades. The tip is very sharp and pointy and the head penetrates very well. Bottom line is that it is a tough head and they fly great.

Mechanicals scare me, but then maybe I'm behind the times. I've always been able to use fixed heads with my setup.
