Default Need help choosing tree stand!

I am 6'8" tall and just a hair over 325lbs and need a new climbing tree stand.I am trying to decide between the Tree Lounge bow hunter model and a Buckshot by Big Shot. Both of these climbers have models of us big guys but I would shure like to hear from someone who has first hand knowledge and experiance with these stands. Any help would be appreciated!

The summit goliath gets my vote. Comfort level is amazing on my Viper which is the same as the goliath just smaller. I am 6'3'' and 210#.Note to myself; Don't piss off DE. Hunter.

Personaly, I don't think with your weight you should be in a climber. You any gear and the base all coming down on the seat every time you go up. Just isn't good.

Dang, your a big ole boy. You can have mine sir. You definantly need a heavy duty stand. Dont take a chance on anything that isn't rated for your weight. Basically you need something that will hold a volkswagon.

The Summit Goliath is rated to 350 pounds, and I saw Travis "T Bone" Turner sit in one and he was well over 500. The Goliath is a great stand and will serve you not only well.......but safely. I assure you. Enjoy!

So yourecommend people disregard the saftey load limits? It would not be to difficult for the 325 guy to exceed the 350 rating. Boots alone are heavy. On a rainy day he'd for sure pack on some pounds. The 500# guy, whoever he is, is most likley not known for his intelegence. And if I had anything to do with a stand company, wouldn't use as a role model.[8D]
