How old is your bow?
#1

Sort of two part question: 1) how old is your current rig and 2) do you think there is some specific amount of time (or arrows shot)beyond which a bow needs to be replaced?
I have had my Mathews Ultra II for five or six years now and I still think that it is an awesome bow. I just don't see the need or wantto replace it because it shoots so accurately, smoothly, it is stillfastfor today's bowsand maybe most importantly it has been pretty lucky
Anyway, just curious what some of the rest of you thought and if I was the only one on here shooting an "old" bow.

I hate to admit that my bow is almost 20yrs old. A friend of mine used it 3d shoots and then I bouight it when he was upgrading. I guess that answers both...... some upgrade and some like the old reliable. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Right now, I have an 05' Mathews Apex, 06' Apex 7, 06' Switchback XT, and an 06' Liberty bow. I wouldn't hesitate to keep a bow around for a long time though, I think my Apex will probably be around for quite some time from now. The rest change fairly frequently though. I have owned7 different bows this year alone....not because of necessity but because I like to tinker with stuff.
