I hear yah Lazy,

Its a tough decision, I think you got your point across, and that was important to do. You were (are) in a tough spot - but true freinds will likely work it out. Some people mature at different rates, some never do, some need a little push from a good freind. I think you did the right thing. I'd make an extra effort to explain to my freind my concerns, I'll bet he'll come round, and realize that he was defensive, because he knew he was wrong in judgement.

That said, I'd back off a little - Straightarrow is right - he is your peer - and needs maybe a little direction not a sermon.

Hope it works out for you.

right on Lazy! You have more patience then I my friend. I'd have a slaughter, friend or not! If he is a true friend he'll understand...hopefully sooner then later and then hopefully he'll change or the friendship wasnt what it was all cracked up to be!

Sorry Straight, I disagree! The reasoning was discussed and the partner disagreed! There comes a time in life where one needs to lay the law. Friends understand........It comes a time when we, even as peers need to be taught! We loose focus, loose mind, whatever it is. Sometimes we go so far as to ruin our own lives, its those friends who are trying to set us straight! Hopefully he'll understand it as I am sure you do too!
