Great Stuff Target
I had a brainstorm to go get some cans of "Great Stuff" foam from Lowes.
I sqirted 5 cans in a cardboard box and let it sit up for a few days. Well, my arrows go right through it so don't waste your $$$ on that. |
RE: Great Stuff Target
Nice brain fart but thanks for sharing.

RE: Great Stuff Target
I bet if you would have layered the cardboard it might have worked, but i dont know ive never tried it.

RE: Great Stuff Target
Really? I would have thought an arrow would have stopped? Are you sure the foam was completely dry and there weren't any air pockets in it?
Hmmm...I guess I'll have to remember this one. Thanks for letting me know. ![]() |
RE: Great Stuff Target
Go back to Lowes or any like store and get a 4X8' sheet of blueboard insulation or even Celetex and cut it to 2X2' or likeable size and glue them together....
Of course you can simply buy a target. ;) |
RE: Great Stuff Target
Yea, go ahead and get yourself a Block 4x4...I just got one for my birthday and it's great.

RE: Great Stuff Target
lol, I can't say I haven't tried a few idea's too. The blue board does work good, but doesn't last very long IMO.

RE: Great Stuff Target
Get some accustic ceiling tiles from a construction job... I throw them away all the time... Band them and they work great.
Or buy one or two or five like I have. |
RE: Great Stuff Target
Yea I tried that stuff on a wore out deer target..doesn't work...I have a buddy that filled a burlap bag ful of plastic grocery sacks..works real good and is weather proof.

RE: Great Stuff Target
Burlap bags full of shrink wrap work wonders.
Used to work for an RV/Boat maintanance place and they were always throwing out old shrink wrap in the spring. Stops your arrows cold, depending on how tightly you fill the bag up. |
