RE: Great Stuff Target

Hardcore that's what I was thinking too.I have been saving those plasticc grocery bags lately. Also one thing I did recently and it works wonderfull is,I had a worn out bag target, and what I did was stomp all the stuffing back in it,then I bought a cheap 12' 4 dollar tarp, then wrapped it tightly and duct taped it near the edges it worksexcelent, and is like having a new bag target for a fraction of the cost.My next brainstorm is to get enough grocery bags and other stuffing and experiment with the tarp and various stuffings.A few back I thought about doing the great stuff thing, but never did it glad someone did it first ;).

I let it dry for a week before I shot it. I do have a block 4x4 but I was just trying something because the broadheads tend to eat the block up.

Stuffa burlap sack full of empty burlap sacks and that'll stop your arrows.

Or you could build something like this:

Yes, you buy it in 50' folded lengths. Home Depot sells it.

My buddy filled a garbage bag with that expanding foam and it worked but it was too light. Target and arrow rolled across the yard. It could be that the cardboard box was not allowing the foam to expand enough.

Take the same cardboard box and fill it with Shrink wrap(stuff pallets are wraps with)...works great....arrows only go about 6 inches in the box and pull out real nice.

I've used the great stuff to get some extramiles out of my morrell, just put contact paper on the faces and inject the foam into 4-5 spots and let it dry well. Was able to finish off the season with it. Also old seat cusions from outdoor furniture work, wrapped in a tarp or stuck into a cardboard box
