People have used objects on their bows to do this for some time. In some aspects of archery it's illeagal and guys have found cleaver ways to bend the rules. The idea is a good one and worth using.

In theory it sound like a good deal, but for me I'm a little slow
I like my single pin Impact archery cosmic. My bow shoots plenty fast enough to make a lethal hit on a whitetail from 15 to 25 yard's holding dead on.Out to 30-35 I hold just on the top of the back inline (verticaly)with the front shoulder.Works for me.Also I think the brain get's to know after a while the size of deer @ certain yards.

I hope to make my own. I've got a few garbagearrows that can't be shot any more. Now for the marks on the sight ring; I'm thinking of a reflective tape.
The second page also gives the Elk as 28" Since we mostly hunt Mule Deer here, I think I will go with 20:

Back to the belly area.
I'll use 20" for our Mule Deer and 28" for elk.
I have it worked out now excvept for one tiny detail.
I will probably be setting the lines while shooting. Probably alone . . . soooo, how do I mark where the tape goes?? [:@]
