went to the local dikcs sporting goods this evening...almsot came home with a Reflex Excursion..or maybe buckskin i forget...it was a kit...half decint stuff on it too..wanted350 original price i think it was.....on sale for like 220...that bad boy was on its way home.....felt good on the draw....flet good in the hands....figured for that price i cant go wrong for a starter bow....but looked at the tag.....and its repaired!! they had a BUNCH of repaired bows after further inspection...noone was around to ask about them.....but anyone happen to know what might been repaired and if i should really consider one of them?? they arent a REAL bow shop...dont even know if i can test shoot them there...but what are likely problems that have been fixed and are worth a 130$ sale??? thats a heck of a savings....dont know if its worth looking into farther or not....i rather put the money to good use instead of buying junk.....i dont know if it was repaired by reflex of Dicsk either..any info or thoughts on the subject to help me?? im like 90% sure im buying a bow this summer for sure!...just dont know if i should consider one of them bows though its not the highlander i want or what...all the reflexes ive draw and held felt the best out of all the bows so far....i know i gota shoot them first..but so far im liking reflex.....ill go shoot soon.....i start work next wed...and got a check coming tomarrow.....so im on my way...a month or so and ill be good to go shoppin....maybe sat or sunday ill go test shoot since itll be crappy outside......but any info or thoughts on a bow labeled "repaired" by dikcs sporting goods and on sale by 130$??? thanx....caught my eye...figured id ask......i know you guys dont have much to go by.....but maybe a repaired bow is generally a problem or garbage and you can steer me away etc....or send me out to talk to someone about them....

Well i would call Dicks instead of driving and wasting time going up there if no one is around to talk with you. I would find out from the store manager what kind of repairs were made? who did them?
We have a store around home here that set's up bow with are local pro-shop. So check and see what they have to say you might be surprised. I don't knowif would go with the bow if some-one from dicks made major repairs on a bow by them selfs.

well i went out to Dicks today....asked the guy and his facial expression alone led me away from it.......though tempting....a 2005 Reflex Buckskin for 230$ set up it wont be coming home with me....he said they were most likely dry fires etc...and the risers should be fine.....but the cams and strings and such were probably damaged....after looking at them closely i found the flaw in all of them....he said they were repaired by Reflex...but bows dont carry any kind of warrenty or anything....just by the look on his face i said thanks and left......no sense in throwing money away....a couple paychecks here soon and ill be shopping....at a real bowshop....thanx for the help.....i cant wait...ill be drilling targets in the back yard all day everyday! lol
