That's a good looking late-season pattern eh! Another good one is "Intrusion" camo that was designed by the owner of Gray Wolf. I'll be trying this out next year during the late season.

It doesn't matter what you're tactic's are, whatever get's the job done consistantly! I've found what works for me, and I try to help anyone who's interested in doing something different than what most guys are doing.

I have nothing against Realtree other than they're product. IMHO, there are far superior camo patterns. Bill Jordan is a heck of a business man, he pretty much owns the market, but that means nothing to me when I'm hanging out on a limb late-season!

Here's another picture of the Intrusion pattern.

I don't really have a problem with the "open patterns" like ASAT and Predator but it does irk me a bit when folks constantly hammer Realtree and Mossy Oak's products...not necessarily referring to you Todd.If they did not work and/or were not effective then how is that so many folks tend to shoot so many deer while wearing them?

I am, by no means, trying to implythat they are the only effective pattern out there but rather just one of many. The fact that they most often get slammed is a consequence of their success in my opinion.

Ok, I have to bring it up since someone mentioned it... How do you all feel about scent lock gear? I personally think that IF it actually works it steals the animal's sense of smell from them. "Forget the wind, just hunt"? What is that? The wind is a big part of hunting. This is nature after all and I want to have to account for everything. It is the challenge that excites me and makes itthatmuch sweeter when everything comes together and I am luckyenought to harvest an animal.Obviously just my opinion and I hunt asmy hobby, not a job, so who knows what I would think if my paycheck was based on whether or notI killed something.

Lone Wolf I like those also, I have one spot with those light colored trees. Might be a good fit.

I still say ASAT camo 3D is the best there is. www.asatcamo.com Check it out and decide for yourself. The tan tends to take on the color of whatever is around. The stuff is simply amazing. Personally, my second choice is good ole Mossy Oak.

Todd(Lone Wolf) had me check Graywolfwoolens.com a few months back for some new gear and as soon as I sell off some of my Autumnwood wool Ill be placing an order for some Preditor stuff to be made for me. They seem to make really nice stuff by the looks of some of the garments Todd had. I got a ball cap from him made out of the Wolfskin and it is sweet material in a Preditor Fall Brown.
