hunting tip

I've saved the urine before, and have a buddy who does both. More and more I'm starting to agree with the "nothing is better" crowd. As more hunters use scents, calls, and tree stands, deer become conditioned to associate those things with hunting pressure and you could end up scaring off a buck than attracting it.

I've tried everything at one time or another. Used to collect pee bags etc for one time use on the next hunt. Never really had any earth shattering responses. In fact, I don't recall ever getting a deer using one. I now just use soap, waterand the wind.

thanks for the advice guys. i to don't usually use scents but i thought I'd give it a try and see i didn't think it would hurt
but now I'm starting to second guess my self. I'll probably try it and see once or twice.
I've had better luck with bleat calls then grunts

Good unscented soap, shampoo & a grunt call. Shower every time before you go out. Keep your hunting clothes in a scent free bag. Watch the wind, but if you don't smell like anything, they won't smell you. This has worked for me for years. I have tried scents but had absolutely no luck with them. All they seemed to do is spook deer.
