same thing happened to my buddy except his shaft went thru his hand a nd into the bow itself, he was unable to drop his bow

Honestly how many guys check every arrow before every shot? I know I don't. I check them if they hit something hard like a bone or a rock.

I'll flex test mine when I pull them out of the target usually. Once you get into that habit, it really doesn't take any significant time or effort.

Any time I might have hit another arrow or someone might have hit mine on a 3D course, I give them an extra good check and flex test in three or four directions.

Next time you go to pull your arrows out of the target, think about that picture and see if you don't start checking yours everytime too!

I think those shafts are made out of the same materialas Bowtech limbs, they explode the same way[8D]

Ouch that has to suck, I have never had an arrow blow up on me,I have had my string break on me at full draw. That spooked me. Time to start paying closer attention to my arrows.
