Pictures from new house of hunting area
Well after looking at over 15 different areas we picked one last september, the house got started in october. We get to move in in two weeks.Anyway some family and non hunting friends asked why i do not have a back yard. they tell me to cut some more trees down.Well i am going to show you some pictures and maybe you guys and figure out why i like the house right where its at.
The house sits on 264 acres of timber some really thick as you can see in the pictures. We have an acre and a half in front and pn the side of the house.the timber has my house on one side strait to the back bout a mile is a farm open pasture and a bean field on the left side and a corn field on the right. in that corner there is a small maybe 1/2 acre pond swamp maybe is a better word but water anyway and a small stream that runs thru the center of the timber.

here are a few more pictures.Yes we own the 264 acres,we got a good deal on the land the former owner passed away a super guy and his son made me a deal as long as he can come up once or twice a year and take a dear and a turkey. the other day i stopped to drop some stuff off to some of the guys working, i got there about 6:45 Am and no one was around walked onto the deck and seen around 14 turkeys 3 really nice toms. cant wait for turkey season to open.Nothing like sitting on the deck drinking my coffee and shooting some turkeys.
