that looks good. looks like you have enough room to practice shooting your bow. and you could do it off your deck for elevation too!!!

mud dawg, it looks beautiful!!!

I know what you mean about seeing turkeys from your house; last week, I opened the blinds in my bedroom and had 11 deer crossing from right to left, and they were about to come face to face with 14 turkey heading right at them! I watched two huge toms go into full strut for over thirty minutes that morning!! Awesome!

well i am going to put a walk way off to the left about 50 yards down into the woods to put a fire pit for the nice summer fires, but other then that i am leaving it alone.
I went out today and got a few more targets going to scatter them in the woods and shoot off the deck since its about the same height as my stands.

Yes the house is in IL,far north west corner bout 15 miles from the wis state line and maybe30 from the ia state line.Belive it or not we have had more pope & young class deers come from our county in the last 5 yearsthen the famous PIKE county everyone drools over "but don't tell anyone"

RICH now thats funny !!! i am 34 years old married and have 4 kids.i will be paying for this house and the land for the rest of my life, but id do it all over again anyday. The house was built mostly be me and some friends every thing but plumbing and the electrical so it cost me about half of what it would if we would have hired a contractor to do it all.

All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations. I would stick some 3d targets in the woods out the back at various ranges, thay could probably double as decoys in season

My opinion is that you have the perfect backyard! Those that tell you that you don't have a back yard....well you have 1.5 acre front yard...that's plenty of mowing! Looks like you have a really really nice place though.
