This is a fake photo and yes it's been around for some time, the same exact cat, posed etc is photoshopped behind an elk taken in the same spot.....the buck walked by without the cat.....the elk walked by without the cat...the cat walked by alone....and the images are super imposed with one another......
Again, I've seen this photo with the same cat but with either the elk or the buck....

I saw were the photo was zoomed in on, and the outline of the imposed cougar was there. Besides, the surroundings look nothing like Western KS..haha
