Shadow and Rob, your both exactly right, if I may add a little to this story.

Sgt. James Urban is a good friend of mine. Take a look at my field journal titled "Huntingnet.com Connections" Jim as I call him is pictured in the journalhunting Salmon River whitetails in Idaho with me. Jim and his friend did kill that bear and I have seen the gorgeous pictures Jim took of his friends kill. Jim is an excellent photographer. Some knuckleheadgot a hold of the photos through email and exploited them, made-up a big line of BS up about the size of the bear and the "man eater"story and then attatched a photo ofthe eaten human carcuss, all that is a pile of BS!

I remember asking Jim about it when the email first started circulating, Jim just laughed and told me, yeah can you believe that crap. Anyway Jim is a long time member here and a very solid, stand-up guy. He use to go by "Dalliwhacker" hes killed some awesome dall sheep and goats..too..
