Man what a deer, its got to be close. I hope you get a crack at him in the fall. Here is a quick question. How can everyone accurately guestimate the score to the 1/8 of an inch by looking at it on the computer?

Alright, lunch is over... time to reveal the scores

Right side 78 4/8
Left side 73 5/8

Gross 170 1/8 (18 inch spread credit)

Net 165 with5 1/8 inches of deducts.

You guys are good! Many of you were right on which is not always easy to do when looking at photos.

Buckeyebuckhunterwas right on with the net of 165..along with a couple othersof you beingvery close.

I think Bobby was closest to the gross... At 172 2/8, he missed by an inch and an 8th...

that will score around 170 for sure.i dout it will net any higher then one 180 not long enough tines. but that my wo scents

You can't accurately guesstimate holding it in your hand without a tape, let a lone guessing off a picture. You guess awhole number and since there is a chance that someoneelse will also guesstimate that samenumber... you throw in a1/8 - 7/8to make it interesting. Look at how many guessed 172. That is why we do it any ways.
