Any of you guys that are using skinny arrows ,like the Easton Axis or beaman Max, what type of field tip broad heads do you use?I use 125 grain,but am concerned with the step where the tip meats the shaft.Is there an adapter of some sort?If so can you post a pic or link for me.Thanks in advance.Bill D>

There Are speacial field tip's for these shaft's ,that you can buy for these slim shaft's ,as for broadhead's there's not too much overhang ,but if I was to put an,adaptor on it I'm not too sure you's be able to thread the head in properly .

you need to buy the easton RPS points. they are made for the axis/matrix arrows. Depending on what spine of arrow you are shooting you will either need the 16/64th or the 17/64ths, i believe.

You're local proshop should have field points in stock that will match the diameter of your shaft. There is also a broadhead adapter ring available that is a tapered bushing between the shaft and point. They add a few grains to the point weight and they still catch a little when coming out of a 3-d target.

I shoot Easton Axis 400s.

You can get 9/32" screw in points in 125 grain weights.

You do not need to, but you can also get some NAP universal brodadhead adapter rings (U.B.A.R.) that they ship with most of their broadheads now for use with "skinny" carbon arrows. You can use them to back any broadhead if you are concerned with cavetation or whatever.

I use some real skinny ones. Use over-serts and over-nocks from FS Discount Archery. Use regular field tips, usually slightly larger in diameter and they come out of targets easy..... I love em!

You won't need the adapter rings unless you are shooting a mechanical broadhead, that is what they are designed for because the blades damage the end of the shaft when they open due to the HIT insert.

17/64 is what is recommended for the Easton Axis/Beman Black Max although I think they need to be a hair smaller. I am also looking for points for my A/C Superslims.
