RE: how many pins?
gz,
It don't take long less than a second at most, the Mackensie antelope targetI have is looking pretty small through the peep, and the arrows are going in at more of angle, than flying straight in.The 120 pin is going to be the most challenging.I hoping to get it set up in time for gophers.

RE: how many pins?
try shooting one pin ive shot this way since i started. with my new bow and last shooting 270-285 fps i shoot dead on out to 25yds drop about a inch at 30. 3-4" at 35. at 40 yds i aim at the top of the lungs on a deer. i do have a spare pin real low on my sight bar and this year used it to take an 8pt at 61 yds but its there just as a spare and happens to be dead on at 50 yds. less pins less " oh damn i judged him for _ and he was actually _ so i shot over/under. anything withing 35yds is dead no fine tuned yardage guessing then if it seems far to me over 35 the deer really starts to fit into the sight guard so i aim alittle higher. then if it looks really far i only shoot in fields and standing deer i aim over the back accordingly. ive shot three deer over 40 yds away doing this and only missed once. just get to know your bow if you plan to shoot over 40yds.
