I JUST WANTED TO SHARE SOME OF MY PICS FROMS MY LAST TEXAS TRIP,CHECK IT OUT, I GOT A RED STAG,TEXAS DALL AND A 12 POINTER DOBLE DROP T WHITETAIL BUT WE FOUD IT UNTIL THE SECOND DAY, COYOTES DID QUITE A JOB TO IT.(I'LL SHOW IT AGAIN WHEN I GET IT FROM THE TAXIDERMY STUDIO THEY GOT A CAPE FOR ME, HOPE YOU LIKE THEM.:)

Carlos, congrats on the hunt. I'm assuming that is a south Texas double drop tine buck, very nice. Thats one of my dream bucks right there. How are you going to get him mounted? Just a standard shoulder mount? Good job....

Yes it is from South Texas Zapata county, and the mount will be std I think is the best way to apreciate the trophy. Thanks

As far as bobby's comments I think he was just playing with you, goofing around so to speak. Just a hunch. Soemtimes it is hard to get the gist of things like that when you are reading it and don't know each other real well.. All in all looks like you guys had a good time though.

Hey, Did they have any big Pike or Salmon in a 55 gal drum for you to shoot. Or, how about some pigions out of traps, maybe that would be easier. Good Luck on your next canned hunt.

Mexhuntr,

Just as you have the right to post your pics and story, I have the right to post my opinion.

I personally take offense with you calling shooting fenced and farmed animals you "bought", HUNTING. I don't care how large the game farm was you purchased the right to slaughter some farm animals on was, you butchered animals for the meat hide and horns the same way my beef and leather are collected. I have no problem at all with the harvesting of animals for these means.... just please do not tie my passion for "hunting" to what you did. You bought and processed farm animals, and that is not hunting.

If you want praise, I'll give it to you. You bought some nice meat, leather and antlers. Some real nice sets there.

What you did not do, in any way shape or form, was "hunt" and harvest a trophy by any hunter's definition.
