I had a 2000 Hoyt Ultratec with the overdraw platform (machined right into the riser). When I put a NAP drop-away rest on it, there was a loud ping when the forks hit the rest (even though I had stuck a multi-layer rubber pad under them). I stuck a Limbsaver mini on the underside of the platform and the ping disappeared!

I just ordered a bunch of this stick on sims stuff...Hope it doesn't make my bow look likesome of these Chevy trucks these kids drive around with in my townthat have every after market product bolted to the exterior.
You know... the same guys who have dingle balls on their mirror.
Anyway, when I get these products I want to put them on, but as far as the solid limb stick on ultras are concerned, how do you keep them out of the way when you have to put bow in press? Seems to me the press rollers like to be right where the ultrasget attached, so I was thinking about placing them right where the contour of the limb goes thinner. That should also be the part that has the mostinternal stress, thus vibration.
Does this location work?
