I had a 2000 Hoyt Ultratec with the overdraw platform (machined right into the riser). When I put a NAP drop-away rest on it, there was a loud ping when the forks hit the rest (even though I had stuck a multi-layer rubber pad under them). I stuck a Limbsaver mini on the underside of the platform and the ping disappeared!
