They are deer antler Knobs.

Those are made by Schafer. Its a company founded by Paul Schafer, a very interesting guy and one of the best bow hunters ever. I think he was killed in a skiing accident several years ago and a guy that worked at his shop and he mentored bought the company and continues making incredible bows. I don't think he meant that his dad made them, they are just custom made from schafer apparently. I too remember reading that he was killed in a skiing accident.
