I either have mine standing on itself in my office or hanging in my basement. It's best to take them out of the cases and let air flow around them especially if you have them in a vehicle..you know how hot they can get and after assting in several shops, seen many explode.

I prefer to lay mine on the dinning room table and then move it to my first floor bar area. You know any place in the way.
That is the quickest way to fire up the misses. The dining room table is so convenient

Actually mine is kept in the basement on a shelf laying flat.

Don't forget the rest of my quote. I do it just to be a PIA to the wife. It doesn't stay there long. She moves it down to my hurricane room where it's cool, dry and most of all fire proof.

I take two of those large bicycle hanging hooks, the ones that look like question marks, and screw them into the beam inmy basement work area. They are placed so the bow will hang horizontally from mid-limb. I haven't had any problems with hanging it like this.

All mine hang on the wall in my bedroom. I have long screws in the walls that fit the holes in the risors and they hang from that, not the limbs or cams.

I hang mine on a very sturdy hook inside the hallway closet.

Hard case here, just make sure all is dry before the case gets locked up. I usually shoot once or twice a week, so its never sitting too long.
