Well, it's still not easy, but I'll tell ya this, turkeys pay absolutely no attention to a blind what so ever. You can set itup in the middle of a field and they just don't care. Obviously I don't need to tell you how to turkey hunt, but set the deeks close to your blind, like 15 yards. Personally, I set one hen facing either to the right or left of me, and one hen looking straight at me with the jake "mounting" her. A mature gobbler will almost always circle in front of the jake staring him down. There's your shot. Good luck and post us those pics when you get him!

edit: slinger brought up a good point. I don't think the mesh is necessary for birds. Just shoot right out the window. The only precaution, make sure you don't have an open window behind you.

mobow pretty much summed it up. I have a Doghouse and shot one out of it last year. I used Spitfires but I took the shoot thru mesh off and just shot thru the window. It was a blast. Can't wait till April.

No mesh with no window open behind you I use no deeks but that is what I prefer. Alot of fun with the bow won't go back to a gun. If you do go with mesh do double band and do not use the expandables with the blades that curl outwards they dont work.

Looking to do it myself this spring if I am home. And like others said they seem to pay no attention to the blind! [8D]

If your blind is black inside wear black clothes so they dont see you move. Its a blast stickin a bird with your bow. If you need a good head go with the spitfire gobbler getter.I usually put my decoys 5 yards away. Good luck and be safe!!!!!!!!
